So...sorry no pictures...Camera on the no no! really..I can't find my charger :(
This spring chicken has found out that I lay a big "tired" egg at around midnight! People were wanting to go out after the party...like go out at midnight? Seriously? Sure...just let me go wake my husband up off the couch in the sports bar and we'll be right there! ya right and Night Night!
The Henley High class of 1998 met at a Brewery our first night. The first 20 mins were full of awkward smiles and people pretending to be surprised to see people. "you look so good...no you do,.,.." But to my surprise...I did have a very fun time. The next day there was a mellow bbq at the park with the kiddos! So fun to see every ones kids and see how much they look like their parents :) And then the last night was another social thing but at the golf club! Pretty mellow...with 1998 music blaring in the background...Alanis anyone?
Saw a bunch of people I use to hang with. I loved High school...so I can't complain. There were nice comments like "you look good for having two kids...and wow..you've been married forever."
Dj was also informally named the most popular and amazing spouse! I swear...he was laughing and hamming it up with people I hadn't really intended on spending time with..but thought.."hey..i better go see who my husband has just made best friends with." and I'm glad I did..I was re-introduced to some really great people!
A few things I was reminded of: That I'm so thankful for my amazingly cute and loving husband! That i shouldn't complain about my size 27 jeans post baby body...(trust me) and that my mom was right..all this time..."just put a smile on your face and you'll feel great and look great." Thanks mom!
I fully INTEND to stay in contact with a few of the people I re-ran into...and look forward to seeing them again in another 10. Man....growing up is such and oxymoron. Necessary..strange..rewarding...wrinkly..wise...fun...tiresome...and adventurous... May I never grow old on the inside..and may I grow old slowly on the outside too!
Cluck Cluck!

oh so funny- yet so relateable. Even though you are waaaaay older than I am- I can def. see my 10 year reunion being bittersweet. I can also just imagine your hubby stealing the show!! We miss you guys. Can't wait for small group to start up again so we can actually see you guys more than once ever...oh... two months!!!
I'd keep the size 27 thing to myself sweety! Glad to hear you had such a great time. I didn't go to mine, but Jill e-mailed me both nights w/ the nitty gritty.
molly...if it helps ..I have to suck in to button them :)
Ha ha ha, you are funny! I'm glad you had such a good time! Those reunions are fun. :) By the way, you look amazing, even if you hadn't had any children! That size 27 waist is one to be desired by many!!! :)
Love you.
Love, Jacquie

I am so glad you wrote about your reunion. I just bought the tickets for ours for the end of this month! I am excited but nervous at the same time... Curt and I went to the same high school so at least we will know the same people! I can just imagine DJ chatting it up with everyone he came in contact with! so funny!
