Another one bites the dust!
For those of you who were disappointed (Becky) when I didn't post pictures of our dead fish chody....Here is dead fish round #2. Tracy went out in true Dead Fish style. She swam sluggish for a few days....looked a little pale in color....then floated to the top of the tank. She was so typical that way :)
It wasn't so dramatic for the girls....Mak said......"looks like we need some new fish." She helped me scoop little Tracy out of the tank then ran outside to play! It was pretty gross...as soon as I touched her the degrading flesh started to sluff off of her and was floating all over in the water. SICK!!
Hope the pics aren't creepy! It's not like I took pics of a dead dog or something. :)

Sister Fun!!!
The girls have been getting along so great lately! By lately I mean the last 3 days :) I told Makayla how proud of her I was and that I was so pleased that she and her sister were playing nice. Makayls replied back, "You know what mom, playing good together is hard work!" It was just about the cutest thing I'd ever heard. Makayla had a Dr.Phil moment! Here are some sweet pictures of the girls, "Hard at work."

And Yes!!!! Believe it or not, it was warm enough today to let the girls out in their suits for a little 'summer' fun! Yesterday Mak did this solo, but today Hana was totally into it. I wish my camera could capture a glimmer of the screechy giggles in these sprinkler moments. :) it was so much fun to see them run around trying to fill a bucket up from the water they were catching from the sprinkler rain. It definitely kept them busy :)

Till next time! Enjoy the sun!

The other day we made a box house out of the patio furniture box. We put a big blanket on the bottom to make it cozy. The girls spent a ton of time in there 'reading' to their babies. :)
Hana is thrilled to be included in on anything "Makayla." Being on the top bunk, and watching mak play pbskids.org games without being squealed at by big sis is a BIG deal!! It's a big deal for me too~ Less intervention....more quiet time, or cleaning time......whatever you like to call it :)

More of the House!
Here are some more pictures of our place!! this is one of our front yard. As you can see I have plenty of yard work to get done. I haven't quite figured out what I'm keeping and what i"m getting rid of. When we moved in it was still cold and nothing was blooming. As it gets warmer I am learning what is in my yard and I'm learning how to protect my yard from the Slugs! It has become quite the war.
This is another picture of our front yard, garage, and front porch! I just planted some pansies under the trees in the front! I'm not sure when they will spring up. Soon I hope.
Here is part of our backyard and our patio! We have already enjoyed a few BBQ's out in the back and plan on many more as soon as the weather approves.

Here is one of my favorite areas of the yard! My flower box! When my parents came up to visit they helped us with a ton of yard work. My mom helped me plant everything in the flower box and I'm so excited to watch them grow! They are getting huge. Best of all ~ the slugs can't get them!!
Here is our living room. I'm taking the picture from the front door so It's hard to see the entire room. The kitchen is directly in front of me and the flower box sits right outside the dining room window. to the left is an opening that leads to the other living room.

This is the view from standing in the kitchen. You can see the other living room straight ahead and the backdoor. You cannot see the pantry or the laundry room from this angle. Those are both to the left of the opening there.

I hope those pictures have given you a better idea of what are new place is like.! We have more work to do on it, but it already feels like home to us!!!
