To the Beach!

So..we had wonderful hot weather this passed weekend ..especially on Saturday! I worked all day Saturday so I seized the day on Sunday and took the girls to the Beach. Dj's aunt and uncle have a house right on the lake with lots of fun things for the kids to play with and for the adults to play with too!

Hana's pre-beach amp up! This headband is her new favorite accessory! she said that it is a 'brain holder inner' Keeps all her stuff in her mind!

freezing cold water didn't detour makayla! she swam around all day (with a life jacket) and had a total blast then got out shivering and bathed in the sun!
Hana helped the boys (Ethan, Josiah, Duncan, and Spencer) gather sand for a sand castle.lunch break! As you can see, hana is thrilled to be wearing her life vest for the boat ride!

We took the kids out on a boat ride. Ralph and Teree got a new 'party boat.' It cruises slow so you can eat dinner on it and stuff. It was a lot of fun..eventually 4 out of the six kids were all laying down...two fell completely asleep. Hana got herself up before she fell asleep..I think she felt herself fading but didn't want to miss out on the action!

Beautiful girls! It was so sweet to watch them stand together at the front of the boat...taking in the scenery! They were really sweet about it. I will hold this warm sunny day in my heart...since it has been raining for two days :( Booo! But it's suppose to be nice again this weekend. If the forecast is right, the we will be off to the beach again!
