O Hana!

Many of you remember the case of the painted boards (check out my wednesday June 27th 2007 blog) ! Well Hana has done it again! This is my sweet little 3 year old Hana....perfectly mischievous in every way! We got home the other day..threw some mac and cheese on the stove top and all went in the office to check email and look at pbskids.org. We were all together...pretty much! Hana was probably 1 minute behind me and Mak. After 6 mins. had passed I went out to check on the noodles. ( I knew it had been 6 mins. because I set the timer.)

I found this! (this is a reenactment...no I did not go and get my camera first...I took a flaming towel off the burner and threw it in the sink) what in the world ...How did a towel just fly up onto the burner like that? Hana said, "I know!"

"I just wanted to see if it burnded." she said! And I'm just glad that our house didn't "burnded"

Amazing how smoky our house got from one little towel burn. Hana was very friendly with her time-out spot this day. Then she took a long hard nap in the afternoon! Lord save us from any more of Hana's scientific conquests!

Give that girl a kid-friendly science experiment kit before she causes some real damage! :)
Only Hana... I'm so glad you had set the timer!

Bring Hana over sometime and you can show her what happens to a house when it starts on fire.... (next door- still isn't livable). We sure have to be on top of things with 3 year olds around!!

Hey dear~
I love that you have an inquistive one too. Michael pretty much pushes me to the end of my rope on a daily basis. Does the time-out spot really work for you? Spanking really doesn't make a behavior changing difference around here....and I have two of them that tend to work off each other. Any advice from you would be a blessing!!! Hope you have less smoke filled days down the road. :) Michelle

Jenny,
Oh my goodness, what a little stinker! :) She cracks me up! Oh, and that picture you posted of her looks a lot like you, to me. :) I hope your Memorial Day weekend was a little less eventful than your lunch time experience yesterday! :) Talk to you soon.
