Mother's day in Bed!! Makayla planned it all and made a list of all the things dj needed to get at the store in order to pull it off! I was greeted on Sunday morning with orange juice (in my England mug) and a wonderful card from the girls! Then mak walked slowly into my room with a cookie sheet covered with a towel and a plate of cinnamon rolls and bacon! Her favorite part was the fork wrapped in a napkin "just like a restraunt mommy." I also got a gift certificate for a "pediture and a manitate." (according to makayla)
The girls sat on the bed with me and we all ate breakfast together while dj got ready for church!

Makayla and Hana performed Mother's day songs at the end of my bed! Mak had a mother's day thing in her class the friday before moms day....I was fortunate enough to get a repeat performance!

Hana...looking adorable...eating her breakfast..and wearing her self decorated night shirt from Ella's birthday party!
P.S. In case you were wondering...I'm buying a new camera this week! yaaaaaaaay! So no more phone photo blogging!
Happy Mother's day!

Jenny,
Your girls are so sweet! How precious that they did all that for you! I hope you had a great mother's day, and got to sleep in a little. :) I totally remember bringing my mom and dad breakfast in bed when my brother and sisters and I were little. I remember the thrill and total joy it brought me, to think that we were making "breakfast" all by ourselves for them. It made me feel so grown up! I bet that's how Mak and Hana felt. :) Talk to you soon.
Love, Jacquie
What a wonderful Mother's Day morning! Enjoy that pedicure and manitrate... or whatever its called. ;)
Love you and your girls!

What a lucky mom you are!! It sounds like you had a fabulous celebration! How exciting your getting a new camera, have fun!
so sweet of them! That's one of the best ways to spend your morning I bet! Hey, remember how we thought it'd be fun to read that book "The Shack" that Neely recommended? Well I bought it today....I figure you are such a busy woman right now, I don't want you to feel pressed to do this with me. So whenever you have time, get it and we can always chat about it later!
Also, I wanted to tell you that you inspired me to pick up my guitar (it's been a while and Curt is upset with me because he bought me a brand new Martin two summers ago that has hardly been touched!)...I've been listening to a lot of Natalie Grant...her new CD is awesome...don't know if you like her but...a few of her songs have really brought me to worship in a deep way! And the cool thing is that Matthew West helped right a handfull of songs on her album and I love his writing! Anyway, maybe I should have put all this in an email! Hugs!
