Harvest and Halloween

We celebrated Harvest and Halloween this year. Makayla's preschool class had a Harvest party. We had a great time. Hana was invited too! That's always a plus. We decorated pumpkins....
Mak was sick and missed a day of school...so I didn't get the note about bringing a pumpkin to class until I was on the way to the party...so I stopped by the store and grabbed one. By the time I got there they had already given Mak a pumpkin...so I let Hana use the one we got. Hana's was 5x's bigger than any other pumpkin in the class! Ooops.

We decorated sugar cookies!

We ate Sugar cookies (Before Lunch!)

See what I mean....Hana's is the mommy pumpkins and all the other ones are the babies!

Halloween: AKA: Fall Family Fun Fest at Church!

Sweet girls...Mak didn't want to take any pictures by herself....she wanted Hana in all of them. (This is new)

A semi-formal looking pose :) They are funny.
Silly faces!!!

What does a doggy do?

Hana throwing Marshmallows at Goliath!

The girls with their own personal super man. Their little buddy Jack-Jack

Who says princesses can't be rough and tumble? Mak jumping around in a big blow up thing at church.

Amazingly enough....no fighting broke out during the sharing of the Cotton candy! I was so proud.

Bubbles the Clown!!

Dj and Ben...Both on staff at the church! Shows how much I know...I thought they were dressed up as the same person...just 'home' and 'away'...but Dj was a sea hawk and Ben was a Cowboy or something! Whatever.

Trunk or treating!!! Now this is where my camera is really stinky...the flash is pretty weak so outside shots aren't that great. But about 30 or more people from our church dressed the trunks of their cars up super cool and the kids "trunk or treat" from car to car! It's pretty fun stuff.

I liked this one..it was bright and easy to take a picture of. There was one family that made the trunk of their car like a puppet show and talked to the kids and took song requests and the puppets sang to the kids and stuff. It was so cute!

Tired girl eating candy on the way home.....I was driving so I couldn't get a picture of Hana too. Bad Angle.....I later realized that I should have been a mean mommy and not let them have any candy till the morning...we had a hard time falling asleep!
All in all...we had a great Harvest/Halloween...whatever you want to call it. Fun Candy time...or Candy in Fall...or Dress up day with Candy! It was fun!

I love Mak's hat that she wore at her school party...and Hana's enormous pumpkin! I'm glad they were well enough to enjoy it!

Your girls are so pretty! There's nothing better than Halloween to give you a good excuse to dress your baby up like a puppy and color her face with makeup!

It sounds like the Halloween/Harvest party was a huge success! Mak looks beautiful and Hana so cute! She reminds me of Samson... :) One question though: If Mak was a princess, Hana was a puppy, and DJ was a Seahawk player - what were YOU?!
