Mak Turns 5!!! Wow....

What a day! It was a little bit if a wet day....so we hung out inside...but it sure was fun. Makayla is officially 5. I can't believe it. According to Makayla, 5 is knocking on the door of Adulthood! Soooo Old! For me 5 represents that she is just that much closer to going to kindergarten....the beginning of true Independence! Yikes. Ok....back to the party!

All the Little girls chatted, listened to music and ate snacks for a while! Cheeseball was a hit. "Double dip" is not a phrase coined by 3-5 year-old!

More princess stuff! Sometimes I forget my girls have real clothes. The first thing they do in the morning is rip their Jammie's off and put on the princess garb! It's no wonder that their dresses are tattered to smithereens! Bless all the sweet mommies that helped their children pick out new princess stuff for Makayla!

The pinata that would not die!!! Each kid probably hit it 3 times...knocking it from the string that held it up twice!

Finally we just let the kids beat on it while it lay on the floor!
Then Brave Dj held it out for the kids to try and hit it in half! Finally Dj ripped it in half and the kids got their candy! Yaayyyy.

Doughnut Game! Little doughnuts dangled on strings in the garage and the kids had to get them without using their hands. It was vary amusing! I'm not sure if it was more for my enjoyment or theirs :) Hana got a little help from papa! Ava got some help from Papa too! He was a big hit....but not with Elaina (below sneaking some icing) she kept her face covered when he was around...thinking that if she couldn't see him then he certainly couldn't see her. It was adorable.

Ella won the doughnut race!!! Good job Ella!

Sweet little Elaina....sneaking icing of a cupcake while her mommy was getting recipes from my dad!

The Day after! Princess up!

We all had a great time! The kids chased each other around...adults ate soup and chatted...and all was merry at Makayla's 5th Birthday! (Pardon all the dark, gross, blurry photos! I'm asking for a new camera for Christmas!)

Totally cute! It sounds like another successful birthday party! Hurray! Please tell your dad hi for us... I'm glad he was able to be there for the party. It is so sweet to see pics of him with the girls. :)

So the princess obsession must be the same for all girls this age. Elsa will not wear anything but a dress up dress unless forced to for school or church. And as soon as we're home, it's back to the ratty, too-small tinkerbell dress!
