Makayla explained to me today the talking Monster took over her body today and she got in trouble in class. As a result, the scarf I lent her was confiscated...and she had to stay in from recess and write this note to us. It is so hard to take something so cute seriously, although I know it is serious, and Mr. Barton is as sick of repeating herself as I am. Forgive her..she is her mother's daughter!

The Joys of Parenthood!
Makayla explained to me today the talking Monster took over her body today and she got in trouble in class. this is one of the best things I have ever seen. I, too, wrote a very similar note to my mom when I was Mak's age and my mom kept it and it is in my baby book so I hope you keep it for Mak to look at some day...you guys will have a great laugh over it!

Aweseome. Reminds me of a girl I had in class one year... she stole a bunch of Oreos from another teacher(by hiding them in her coat sleeve!) and when I caught her, I had her write an apology letter too. It said, "I'm sorry for stealing Mrs. Davidson. I just couldn't help myself!"
Gotta love 'em!
p.s. I also love it that she signed her name on the parent signature line :)
