The Joy of Home Owndership!

I say to dj....I don't think the lawn is suppose to turn to mud when you mow it....
Our Neighbor Peggy said to us...I don't think your lawn is suppose to be oozing into mine...
Thus begins our Journey ...to a broken water pipe in our front yard!
Our friend John graciously rolled up his sleeves to help scoop out the water so that the fixing could be done.

A few robins reaped the benefits of the muddy/wormy lawn!

Soooo.......this is what our yard looks like now! Hopefully the leak is fixed for good...and we get get our lawn looking pretty again!

Jenny,
Well, you and DJ could always teach the girls how to mud wrestle while you have the opportunity! :) Hee Hee. That's sure a bummer, but at least it didn't break when you guys were in London!!! I hope to see some pretty flowers in that spot, once the mud clears up. Take care.

that is a serious bummer! Your friend John is a true friend! I hope you bought him lunch or something! ;)

Unexpected home repairs is no fun! Hope there is some sort of blessing out of this muddy mess. Mud pies anyone? I dare you!!! Let your little Hana make mud pies and I want pictures!! hehhehe You would be the "coolest" mom ever. There is no way you would get a "zero fun" prognosis after that. :)

Good thing grass grows so fast this time of year! I bet it'll be beautiful again in no time.

So sad. We had something like this happen right after we bought our house. Don't you wish you could just call a landlord to come fix the problem sometimes?? Your flowers are gorgeous! even with the big mud hole, your yard puts mine to shame!!!
