London or Bust!!!
In a few short days...5..including today....Dj and I are going to jump on a plane...leave all...ok, most..of our cares in Seattle...and hop the pond to visit our dear friends Micah and Becky! We are sooo super dooper excited. This picture was taken right before they left the states ... and so much has changed since then it's crazy!
We are leaving our sweet little girls behind...so that makes me a little sad and a little happy at the same time :) Makayla wasn't too sad to see us go. She packed her back about two weeks ago and said .." are you going to London today?" When I said no she sighed with dissapointment. "tomorrow then?" she asked....(She's obviously has seperation anxiety) ;) The girls are so excited to stay with family and friends that they could really care less that we are leaving. I think that will make it a little easier to leave!
I recieved this in the mail about a week ago. A sweet note from becky with a map of all the attractions in the city :) Including sticky notes that she wrote out and placed on areas she thought we would be excited to see! It was so much fun to get that in the mail :)
Going on the London Eye is my birthday present from the Pilgrims and I'm soooo excited about it!
We have heard so much about this resteraunt..that we have to try it while we are there.
We are going to London to see London...Yes! But mostly we want to experience what are dear friends are up too over there. We miss them dearly and are so excited about this journey they have been on! We can't wait to see their favorite hangouts....pubs..coffee houses...markets...buildings...etc...This trip is 95% about relationship..and reconnecting...and 5% about sight seeing! I have a feeling the memories of our friends will outlast the memories of the museums. Here's to great friends! See you in 5 days!

Oh, Jen... you've made me tear up! Why do I always do that? And if I'm starting now, then what's it going to be like when you're here! I'll use tissues to mark our path around London because the best thing about being here is that RELATIONSHIPS can grow WHILE we sight-see! :) We'll do both... and we are soo super-duper excited to have you here!
JENNY, I am so excited for you and DJ! You guys are going to have so much fun with your friends over there! London is great, so much to see, so much history, so much good food and beer! :) I can't wait to see pictures of your trip and hear all about your time with the Pilgrims. I'm glad the girls are excited to stay with family and friends, that makes it a whole lot easier to leave with them happy and excited, rather than sad and crying! We need to get together, if just for a brief moment or two sometime soon, now that we are back from Maui. I'm guessing it will probably be when you get back from London though.
