We are very excited to announce that we are buying our first House!!! We have a condo that we bought 5 years ago and we are now in the process of selling it so that we can move into an adorable little rambler! The most exciting detail about the house......it has a huge backyard. Tiny bedrooms, but a huge backyard. We couldn't be more excited, stressed, relieved, and a little anxious. There is the excitement of the new house, the stress of selling the old house, the relief of more space, and the anxiousness that comes with trying to find new appliances for the new home.
It has been a roller coaster. We loved it...then we had a multiple offer situation and had to see if we won. We did. Then the inspection was less than agreeable and we had to ask the sellers to do a bunch of work. ie: new roof etc.... Much to my surprise, they said OK. Then I had mentioned that we needed to shop for new appliances and it looks like that is going to be taken care of too! It's just been an amazing adventure. I'm sure the stress isn't entirely over...but I feel good about it for now!
Sorry no pictures. Our "dial up Internet" is worse than snail mail when it comes to uploading photos. Maybe when I'm feeling more patient I'll put some up!
